Well, I completed my layout for the September Life.Paper.Scrapbook sketch challenge!
I used the Carta Bella “Rough & Tough” collection, some Studio Calico wood veneer shapes (I’m loving these!!), American Crafts thicker letters and no page is complete without some Epiphany Crafts epoxy shapes!!
I decided not to back the epoxy star shapes with any patterned paper, but just leave them “naked” and use them as a subtle embellishment.
I had completed the whole page but was really stuck on a title! I couldn’t think of anything! Then Michelle T. came over to see what I was doing and said, “Aw! Look at that smooshie face!” And viola! I had my title! Thanks Michelle!!!!
I also managed to get another page completed during the crop yesterday. And this layout wasn’t for any design team or challenge. That doesn’t happen too often these days, so it’s a nice change!
I used the star epoxy shape from Epiphany Crafts to add dimension to the page along with popping up some chevrons I cut out from the paper.
Two layouts completed in 10 hours! Not too bad if I say so myself! LOL!
Hope you had a super creative weekend too.
